The rules for using MoneyVedas. Written in plain language, on purpose.
1. Who runs this site
MoneyVedas (moneyvedas.in) is operated by Robin CB, an individual educator writing about the Indian markets from more than five years of personal experience in technical and fundamental analysis. Contact: robincb@moneyvedas.in.
2. Education only — not investment advice
All content on this site — lessons, research, calculators, checklists, the risk profiler, and the newsletter — is general education. It is not investment advice, not a recommendation, not an offer, and not a solicitation to buy or sell any security, mutual fund, or other financial product. It is not personalised to your financial situation, goals, or risk tolerance, because we do not know them.
Robin CB is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser or research analyst, and nothing on this site should be treated as regulated investment advice or research. If you need advice for your own situation, consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser or a chartered accountant.
3. Figures, dates, and no guarantees
Figures on this site carry the date they were researched (most pages state a "last updated" date). Markets, prices, tax rules, and regulations change; a figure that was correct on its date may be out of date when you read it. Verify current prices and rules before acting.
Past performance does not guarantee future results. Returns, ranges, and examples labelled "historical" describe what happened before — they are illustrations, not promises or forecasts. Investing in securities is subject to market risk; you can lose money, including the money you invest.
We work to keep the content accurate and sourced, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current, or free of error. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or decision made from using this content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
4. Broker links
Links to brokers (Zerodha, Groww, Upstox, Paytm Money) are plain links to those brokers' own websites. They contain no referral or tracking codes, and MoneyVedas earns no commission from them. They are provided for convenience and are not endorsements. The brokers named are SEBI-registered stockbrokers in their own right; check their registration and terms yourself before opening an account.
5. Newsletter
The newsletter sends weekly investing emails to addresses submitted through the signup form. By subscribing you agree to receive those emails. You can unsubscribe at any time by emailing robincb@moneyvedas.in with the subject "Unsubscribe". How your email address is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Our content and yours
Original text, research, and design on this site belong to MoneyVedas / Robin CB, unless a source is credited to someone else (cited third-party material remains its owners'). You may quote short passages with attribution and a link back. Reproducing, redistributing, or commercially reusing larger parts of the site needs written permission — write to robincb@moneyvedas.in.
7. Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Do not abuse the signup form, attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it aggressively, impersonate MoneyVedas or Robin CB, or present our content as your own. We may block abusive use.
8. External links
Links to other websites are provided for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the site grows. The "last updated" date above shows the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from the site or these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.
